voir la vidéoMid-1950's Hoover Model 634 upright, a promotional model which was actually a 63 in different colors. This one was also offered alongside the Model 64 Citation. This one has a replacement bag and cord, but is still a very cool machine to look at, and since it was a promotional model it's fairly rare too. I just noticed the handle was squeaking as well, you can tell I don't use it often. Will be oiling it this summer when I do some routine maintenance on the collection... [ go to Youtube.com ]

Hoover Convertible Model U4119 Upright Vacuum Cleaner
voir la vidéoI found this vacuum in the garbage about 2 years ago across the alley. It looked like a POS from a distance, but actually is in very nice shape. All i did was change the paper bag, install a new belt, and install a different bolt on the lower handle. Besides the gaping hole on the outer bag it runs awesome! [ go to Youtube.com ]

Someone commented they sound like they're screaming - the 700 has a naturally higher-pitched motor, and the camera mic tends for focus on and exaggerate high sounds - it's how the mic distiguishes between 'relevant' and 'ambient' sounds. Hoover Windtunnel self propelled upright vacuum cleaner

This model offered variable power with LED indicator lights, headlight, air freshener, onboard tools, automatic cord rewind. The brush-roll could also be switched off for hard floor cleaning. There is one slight inaccuracy; the term 'Hedlite' refers to the lamp on the US 750, 900, and optionally on the 425. Hoover concept II Kirby heritage
voir la vidéoLets watch the Kirby and Hoover go face to face. You can see the clear winner is the Hoover. It removes alot more grit then the kirby. The hoover has a quadraflex adgitator. It has a combanation brush and beater bar. The high airflow lifts the rug to clean it properly. As you can see I just put a brand new bag in and it was just taken out of the package.
