I am so grateful for this post! For carpet cleaning, I just make a mixture of 3-4 TBL baking soda, 1/4 tsp blue Dawn dish-washing liquid and 2-3 TBL hydrogen peroxide. I put it in my spot bot carpet cleaner and filled it up with water. Worked GREAT! No smells on the carpet!
