Someone commented they sound like they're screaming - the 700 has a naturally higher-pitched motor, and the camera mic tends for focus on and exaggerate high sounds - it's how the mic distiguishes between 'relevant' and 'ambient' sounds. Hoover Convertible Model U4119 Upright Vacuum Cleaner
voir la vidéoI found this vacuum in the garbage about 2 years ago across the alley. It looked like a POS from a distance, but actually is in very nice shape. All i did was change the paper bag, install a new belt, and install a different bolt on the lower handle. Besides the gaping hole on the outer bag it runs awesome! [ go to Youtube.com ]

Hoover Windtunnel self propelled upright vacuum cleaner

Big-a** Hoover Conquest C1800
voir la vidéoHoover's current TOL commercial machine, The CONQUEST! I bought this new 2 years ago after trying one out in a Hoover store. I could not believe how the cleaner just glides across the floor! I much prefer this to a Sanitaire any day for the following reasons: 1. Its easy to push 2. It does not hug the carpet like a Sanitaire 3. It uses a quadreflex agitator 4. Its reasonably quiet. 5. Its built to last. [ go to Youtube.com ]

The Hoover DUSTER model 200
voir la vidéoFrom 1929, this was Hoover's first try at a suction-only cleaner. It was never meant to be a rug cleaner, but would do a decent job on bare floors and upholstery and general dusting. Production dates are from August - November 1929, and 9004 of them were made. I know of about 5 of them in private collections. Hoover Model 634
voir la vidéoMid-1950's Hoover Model 634 upright, a promotional model which was actually a 63 in different colors. This one was also offered alongside the Model 64 Citation. This one has a replacement bag and cord, but is still a very cool machine to look at, and since it was a promotional model it's fairly rare too. I just noticed the handle was squeaking as well, you can tell I don't use it often. Will be oiling it this summer when I do some routine maintenance on the collection... [ go to Youtube.com ]

The Hoover Cleaner Model 33
voir la vidéoA never used Hoover Convertible model 33, made December 20, 1963. This is from the end of the run, and came from the Hoover Company's infamous vault. This was a present from my friend Tom, for my 44th birthday. Thanks Tom, I will treasure it forever!! This video is the cleaner's first run, probably since it came off the line back in 1963.
